"Liberal values" only go so far.
From The Jewish Telegraphic Agency, "Dozens of Jewish groups protest Trump's plans for mass deportation":
Dozens of Jewish organizations have signed an open letter to President Donald Trump protesting his planned mass deportations of undocumented immigrants.
The letter, published on Jan. 27, demonstrates that as Trump retakes office, a range of major Jewish organizations intend to continue to be vocal in opposing his policies on immigration. The signatories include a range of centrist and liberal Jewish groups with a national presence, including the leadership of the Reform, Conservative and Reconstructionist religious movements. Dozens of local Jewish groups and institutions also signed.
"[W]e write in opposition to your Administration's plans to launch mass deportations, build massive detention camps, and conduct sweeping raids," the letter says. "We urge you to chart a different course and change your stated plans for widespread persecution of immigrants. America has long prided itself on being a place of refuge, a beacon of hope for those fleeing persecution and seeking a better life."
[...] "Jewish families — past and present, here and elsewhere — know what it is to live in fear for the immediate and long-term safety of our families," the letter says. "We have been forced to flee, denied access to safety, scapegoated, detained, and exploited. This history and our Jewish values make immigration policy – including ensuring a functioning and welcoming refugee program and protection of the right to seek asylum – deeply personal to the Jewish community." Evidently, these "liberal values" don't extend to protecting the rights of people protesting Israel's genocide in Gaza.

From The Daily Caller, "EXCLUSIVE: Jewish Group Gives Trump Admin List Of 'Pro-Hamas' Foreign Students, Faculty To Deport:
A "loud proud Zionist" organization sent the Trump administration documents on dozens of allegedly pro-terrorist college students and faculty, hoping President Donald Trump will deport them, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.
Activist group Betar US confirmed to the DCNF Wednesday that it sent the information to officials in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the White House. The Jewish organization says it documented 100 students and 20 faculty and staff members with visas in the U.S. whom Trump should deport for supporting terrorist groups such as Hamas.
"We say that those who stand with Hamas and terror organizations are enemies of the US and have no place in this great country," Betar US spokesperson Jonathan Levy told the DCNF in an email. "We are intently focused on ensuring that Jews are safe and [we] are sick and tired of universities making excuses."
Levy said his group reported anti-Israel students at campuses such as the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Michigan, New York University, Cooper Union, "and dozens of other egregious schools which have tolerated and encouraged Jew-hatred." Faculty and staff from Syracuse University, NYU, and the University of California, Davis are also among the named individuals, Levy said.
Levy told the DCNF that Betar could not share the documents "at this time." Betar, however, sent copies to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House Homeland Security Adviser Stephen Miller, White House envoy Adam Boehler, Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi, incoming counterterrorism adviser Sebastian Gorka, United Nations nominee Elise Stefanik and Mike Huckabee, Trump's nominee for ambassador to Israel. Levy wished not to reveal the names of every federal official who has received the lists.
[...] Levy said a "public-private partnership" is needed to reshape college campuses. "We have faith and hope that jihadis on campuses nationwide will be deported and quickly," he said.
Levy said Betar also seeks to assist Project Esther, an initiative by the conservative Heritage Foundation to curb antisemitism and pro-Palestinian activist networks. In short, we're supposed to keep the illegals, deport critics of Israel and take in Gaza's refugees.
The Heritage Foundation's Project Esther is a batsh*t crazy part of Project 2025 that opens with a story about Jews having their enemies hanged.

In related news, the ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt told the Israeli Knesset earlier this month that the kind of "genius" behind the Jewish state's pager attack on Lebanon is now needed to fight antisemitism.
