Western nations should "welcome" the refugees Israel's war with Gaza is creating, according to Danny Danon, Israel's former Ambassador to the UN and Ram Ben Barak, the former deputy head of the Mossad.

From The Wall Street Journal, "The West Should Welcome Gaza Refugees":
It is imperative that the international community explore potential solutions to help civilians caught in the crisis.

One idea is for countries around the world to accept limited numbers of Gazan families who have expressed a desire to relocate.

Europe has a long history of assisting refugees fleeing conflicts. [...] Germany, Austria and Sweden accepted large numbers. [...] European countries including Germany, Sweden and France have provided refuge to Syrians since the civil war started in 2011. Between 2015 and 2016, Germany alone admitted more than 1.2 million refugees and asylum-seekers, about a quarter of whom were Syrian.

[...] The international community has a moral imperative -- and an opportunity -- to demonstrate compassion, help the people of Gaza move toward a more prosperous future and work together to achieve greater peace and stability in the Middle East.

[...] Mr. Danon is a senior Lukid member of Israel's Knesset. He served as ambassador to the U.N., 2015-20. Mr. Ben-Barak is a Yesh Atid member of the Knesset. He served as deputy director of the Mossad, 2009-11.
As I reported two weeks ago, a leaked Israeli Intelligence Ministry document revealed the goal of their war with Gaza is to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian population and send the refugees to Europe and Canada.

Ram Ben Barak said on Israeli TV around two weeks ago that he wants to "redistribute" 2.5 million Gazans to "Canada" and "all over the world."

Right-wing pro-Israel "influencers" all over social media have been working to sell Israel's war to their followers by inflaming anti-Muslim sentiments and suggesting supporting Israel's war will allow our governments to repatriate our large Muslim populations but Israel actually plans to just send them to the West.

Breitbart editor-at-large Joel Pollak called for similar last month.

We've all been told repeatedly over the past month that Israel is part of the West and that's another reason America and Europe should be supporting their war -- a war which Israel has assured us is only directed against Hamas.

If all that is true, then Israel themselves should welcome the Gaza refugees they're "liberating" from Hamas to "demonstrate compassion" to the world and be a "light unto the nations!"
