![]() ![]() The move came just days after X owner Elon Musk met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and spoke with a panel of rabbis and Israeli officials arraigned by Ben Shapiro who urged him to ramp up censorship of "antisemitism."
From ADL, "ADL Statement Regarding X/Twitter": New York, NY, October 4, 2023 ... ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) issued the following statement today regarding recent developments with X/Twitter:Ah yes, they never actually organized the ad boycott they bragged about organizing.
Talk about chutzpah! The ADL's statement continues: "A better, healthier, and safer X would be a win for the world. We've said that publicly and repeatedly, and we hope that company leadership shares that goal as well. As we do with all platforms, we will credit X as it moves in that direction, and we also will call it out when it has not. While some are claiming this is a victory for Musk and free speech, I can't help but notice this decision only came after X expanded censorship and implemented a new caste system:
That said, the decision also came after Musk threatened to sue the ADL for defamation. Overall, at least for the time being, censorship is way down from the previous regime -- even with this idiotic (and comically transparent) new caste system.
