Elon Musk Says He Will Rehire DOGE Whiz Kid Who 'Resigned' Over Edgy Tweets

Elon Musk on Friday confirmed he will rehire Marko Elez, the 25-year-old DOGE staffer who "resigned" after the Wall Street Journal doxed him and revealed he posted edgy tweets on an anonymous X account.

"He will be brought back," Musk said on X. "To err is human, to forgive divine."

Musk earlier in the day conducted a poll on X asking if Elez should be brought back and nearly 80% of respondents said "Yes."

President Trump somewhat distanced himself from the decision when asked about Vance's defense of Elez during a press conference.

"Well, I don't know about the particular thing, but if the vice president said that ... I'm with the vice president."

The decision is triggering a lot of whining and gnashing of teeth.

Musk, together with Anons who seem to be part of an Israel First influencer network on X, used the incident to push for Vance to become president come 2028:

While Trump, Vance and Musk rehiring Elez is commendable, it must be pointed out that they likely forced him to resign in the first place. They likely were the "cancel culture mob" in this case -- fortunately, they're now righting the wrong.

That said, this case is significant as it signals an effort to bring disenfranchised Whites back into the fold.

As I touched on yesterday, tons of young white men have totally dropped out of the system because it offers them nothing but grief.

While the Trump administration may be making these overtures because they're gearing up for a war with Iran and want young white men to be on the frontlines, it's also possible they're adjusting to the reality that America's unipolar moment is over and the US cannot remain a competitive superpower as a diverse, pluralistic society facing a demographic collapse.

That said, a lot more is going to be needed to be done.
