![]() ![]() "Elon Musk is being falsely smeared," Netanyahu wrote Thursday on X. "Elon is a great friend of Israel," he said. "He visited Israel after the October 7 massacre in which Hamas terrorists committed the worst atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust. He has since repeatedly and forcefully supported Israel's right to defend itself against genocidal terrorists and regimes who seek to annihilate the one and only Jewish state. I thank him for this." ![]()
Netanyahu's move follows the ADL's Jonathan Greenblatt defending Musk's "awkward gesture" and calling for everyone to "give one another a bit of grace" -- something which Greenblatt has never done in his entire tenure as the head of the ADL. ![]()
This is a major red flag. Last year, multiple anonymous Israel critics with popular accounts on X were doxed after signing up for "X premium" and verifying their ID with the Israeli firm AU10TIX.
At the end of 2024, Musk banned a bunch of Groyper accounts and demonetized and removed the blue checkmarks from multiple prominent critics of Israel. He then changed the X algorithm to promote more "entertaining" slop content.
The Israel Lobby got TikTok banned in the US for allowing criticism of Israel to go viral and now with the site given a temporary 90-day reprieve under Trump users are reporting that the statement "Free Palestine" is being auto-flagged as "hate speech."
With TikTok being banned and the founder of Telegram being arrested in France, there is clearly a concerted effort to push people back onto US-controlled platforms like Facebook/Instagram and X. Mark Zuckerberg is trying to remake his image by claiming he's for "free speech" to get users to come back on his plantation and Musk is reigning in the free speech he let run wild now that Trump is in power. This seems to be a concerted effort to return to "business as usual" with the will of the American people sidelined and the Israel Lobby in control.
