![]() ![]() "Sorry, TikTok isn't available right now," TikTok.com now reads for everyone in America. "A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the U.S. Unfortunately, that means you can't use TikTok for now," a statement says. "We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office. Please stay tuned!" This should officially put an end to the lie that America is a "liberal democracy." As I noted on Friday in the wake of the Supreme Court's joke ruling upholding the "TikTok ban," the same piece of legislation allows the President of the United States to shut down any popular social media app deemed to be controlled by a "foreign adversary." What's truly hilarious about this whole story is that "our" Congress only passed the law to silence criticism of a foreign adversary (whom they all insist is "Our Greatest Ally")!
Fortunately, the Chinese have called the US's bluff. Rather than sell the site to a group of Zionist investors as the US wanted, they're just shutting it down and allowing the whole debacle to blow up in our government's face. Trump is claiming he's going to "save" TikTok but so far he has only said he will "most likely" exercise the part of the law that allows for TikTok to be given another 90 days to find a buyer before being banned.
