Three of Four 'Teens' Plead Guilty in Carjacking Murder of Linda Frickey, Avoid Life Sentences

Three of four "teens" pleaded guilty on Monday to second-degree murder for carjacking 73-year-old New Orleans grandmother Linda Frickey and dragging her to death through the streets last year in a modern day lynching.

Three of the four teenagers accused in the death and carjacking of Linda Frickey over a year ago in Mid-City pleaded guilty on Monday (Nov. 20).

All four teens had been charged as adults facing second-degree murder with the possibility of life in prison if convicted.

Briniyah Baker, 17, Lenyra Theophile, 16, and Mar'Qel Curtis pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of attempted manslaughter and will be sentenced to 20 years in prison as part of the plea deal. The three will serve a minimum of 15 years each.

[...] Not included in the guilty pleas was 18-year-old John Honore.

Frickey's family members said Honore "deserves no mercy."

[...] FOX 8 Legal Analyst Joe Raspanti believes the case against Honore is stronger.

"If it wasn't a slam dunk before, it sure appears to be now," Raspanti said. "I'm going to bet that part of the plea deal for the other three is that they would testify against the fourth defendant in this trial."

As I previously reported, this high-profile lynching came right as Biden was signing into law an "anti-lynching" federal hate crime bill and giving speeches suggesting white people lynching black people is "a persistent problem" in America.

He didn't even bother to mention this lynching as a group of black teens lynching an elderly white woman doesn't advance the anti-white narrative the White House is hellbent on pushing.

I saw on social media folks lamenting that these "teens" were not given life in prison and while I share their concerns the fact of the matter is securing such convictions in our rigged court system with biased juries can be very difficult.

The "teen" killers who murdered John Weed at a fair in Frederick, Maryland in 2020 after he declined to give them $1 were let off with mere probation.
