'We Are Not The Victims': Israel's Ambassador to Australia Goes Viral for 'Textbook Freudian Slip'

Amir Maimon, Israel's Ambassador to Australia, is going viral for an embarrassing "textbook Freudian slip" during a press conference announcing, "We are not the victims."

"People are trying to suggest that there is some sort of moral equivalence [between the actions of the Israelis and Palestinians since Oct 7], there is no moral equivalence," Maimon told the National Press Club of Australia last week. "We are not the victims."

"Sorry, we are the victims," Maimon corrected himself. "We are not the aggressor, sorry, we are the victims. It's important to understand it."

"We are the victims," he repeated again and again.

Just before this clip, Maimon also slipped up and called Hamas "Haman."

He must have had Amalek on his mind!
