Nearly four million people woke up in France last week to learn that their "vaccine passport" had been revoked because the government shortened the time frame for a "booster" requirement from seven to four months.

WATCH:

"Starting on February 15, to maintain a valid vaccination pass in France, a booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will have to be administered no later than four months after the end of the initial vaccination, except for those who have contracted the disease since," France 24 reported.

"According to health authorities, between four and 4.5 million people are not up to date with their vaccines," RFI reported.
