![]() Newly released footage taken by The News Movement appears to show Alex Pretti spitting at ICE officers before kicking the taillight out of one of their vehicles during a prior confrontation on Jan 13.ICE officers can be seen tackling the man to the ground but then releasing him in the face of an enraged crowd of "protesters." A gun could be seen in his waistband as he was let go. From The News Movement: On January 13th, The News Movement filmed a man who appears to be Alex Pretti interacting with federal immigration agents. Our footage was analyzed by the BBC, whose facial recognition technology confirmed his identity to a 97% degree of accuracy.The Minnesota Star Tribune published footage of the same confrontation from a different angle on Wednesday, and a spokesperson for Alex Pretti's family and his family's attorney confirmed the man in the video was Pretti. UPDATE: New video of the incident from a different angle shows Pretti told the ICE officer, "Assault me, motherfucker," and then tried to spit on him inside of his vehicle.
