Jeff Sessions was the first senator to endorse Donald Trump's candidacy and gave up his secure Senate seat to join his administration -- this is how Trump repaid him.

Immigration patriots were not happy.

Trump's anger with Sessions is over his decision to recuse on Russiagate, which only came to bite him in the ass because he as president left Rod Rosenstein in power as the second in command at the DOJ rather than clean house as prior administrations did. Sessions actually fired Rosenstein after getting appointed and yet Trump personally declined his resignation.

"The president called Dana Boente and Rod Rosenstein tonight to inform them that he has declined to accept their resignation, and they will remain in their current positions," Justice Department spokesman Peter Carr said at the time.

Sessions was one of the only people in Trump's entire administration who did anything to enact the actual agenda he ran on. Remember, it was Sessions who got tough on the border with family separation and it was Trump who threw open the border by ending it after Ivanka cried.

Sessions fired back on Twitter but didn't want to attack Trump directly.

Hopefully, Alabama voters will defy Trump as they did last time when he endorsed the Sackler family shill Luther Strange.
