This should have been done day one along with banning birthright citizenship but it's better late than never. From the AP: The Trump administration is imposing new visa rules aimed at restricting “birth tourism,” in which women travel to the United States to give birth so their children can have U.S. citizenship. The regulations, which take effect Friday, address one of President Donald Trump’s main political priorities. This has been a major issue for years. Here's a report from the BBC five years ago: The U.S. media didn't find it worth reporting on until last year when they discovered wealthy Russians were taking advantage of it. Another birthright citizenship scam being run these days which this order doesn't seem to address is that wealthy Chinese couples will pay US women to fly overseas to China and act as surrogates for their "designer" babies. As Reuters reported, "U.S. citizens may apply for Green Cards for their parents when they turn 21."
