![]() The Times of Israel condemned staff member Judah Ari Gross for demeaning President Donald Trump as "some goy" in an anti-gentile tweet.
Gross himself only issued a half apology.
The term goy is short for goyim which means cattle in Hebrew. As the Times of Israel acknowledged, it's a derogatory term for non-Jews. The Huffington Post in 2017 took heat after editor Chloe Angyal celebrated Steve Bannon leaving the White House with the headline, "Goy, Bye!" ![]() She failed to issue an apology and insisted it was "intended to be a mashup tribute to Yiddish and Beyoncé."
