David French: 'The Average Immigrant Citizen Did More to Earn Their Place Than The Average Natural-Born Citizen'

The average immigrant has done "more to earn their place" as an American than the average natural-born American, according to National Review conservative columnist David French.

I believe every American should be grateful for American liberty and opportunity. But the average immigrant citizen did more to earn their place than the average natural-born citizen. /2

It doesn't matter if your ancestors built this country from the ground up for the sake of their posterity. You're less deserving of being an American than someone who passed a citizenship test.

French's comments are awfully similar to those from neocons Max Boot, Bill Kristol and Jennifer Rubin, all of whom have called for middle Americans to be replaced with foreigners who are better than them.
