Despite Bill Nye's "My Sex Junk" song being one of the most heavily downvoted songs of all time on YouTube, Hollywood loved it and has nominated the episode for an Emmy. From The Daily Caller: Comedian Bill Nye received an Emmy Award nomination Thursday for his Netflix show’s “Sexual Spectrum” episode. “It’s been a record-breaking year for television, continuing its explosive growth,” Television Academy Chairman Hayma Washington said in a press statement announcing this year’s Emmy nominations. “We are thrilled to once again honor the very best that television has to offer.”Before the skit was censored by Netflix on YouTube with copyright complaints, the skit was viewed well over 1 million times and managed to destroy Nye's reputation. Nonetheless, as he's a loyal servant of the establishment, he's been nominated for an Emmy as a consolation. In the wake of Steve Scalise's shooting by a Bernie Sanders supporter, Bill Nye Saves The World writer Marcella Arguello said she's fine with "a few old ass conservative white men" dying if it will advance gun control.
