I don’t think any comment is really necessary here. This may be, as Jeff Shipley says, the greatest speech of our generation. Words cannot do it justice.
UPDATE: It doesn’t make Davison’s oratory any better, but a reader writes in mitigation: “I have family there and one who works for the cou... (more)
"Good old Uncle Sam will stage attacks ... that's how they keep the slaves in line," the libertarian radio host says during a rant on his show. "We have to wake up and face the fact that we have a criminal government."

This weekend the operators of BitTorrent site TorrentReactor announced they had bought a Russian village and renamed it after themselves. As the site is known for its earlier pranks the news was rightly taken with a grain of salt, but despite reports that the scheme needs presidential approval it seems the villagers are still really quite warm to the idea and are welcoming the prospect of investment.

Eighty-six percent (86%) of voters nationwide say there should be "limits on what the federal government can do." A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only nine percent (9%) believe the federal government should be allowed to do most anything in this country.
These views are overwhelming shared across virtually all partisan and demographic lines.
The only exception is America's Political Class. By a 54% to 43% margin, the Political Class beli... (more)
