The allies of Turning Point USA and their wealthy donors are mobilizing to demand Catholic conservative commentator Nick Fuentes be banned from social media after several of his fans asked hard questions of Charlie Kirk which made him look bad.
The Sheldon Adelson-funded, TPUSA-aligned, pro-Israel lobbying group the Zionist Organization of America on Friday morning issued an error-riddled statement demanding Fuentes be banned:
Their statement claimed an old clip of Fuentes making a controversial joke was actually made "just yesterday" and urged Twitter to "to take immediate action" and ban him because he's "pure evil."
"It is absolutely astounding and inexplicable that the most powerful companies in the world have no problem ignoring this pure evil, let alone offering even more exposure than average, as Twitter did by verifying Fuentes’ account," ZOA National President Morton A. Klein said. "I urge Twitter to stop cooperating with Holocaust deniers, anti-Semites, white Supremacists and racists, and to prevent them from having a platform to further spread their vile hate-filled speech."
Sebastian Gorka, who strongly appeared to call for "evil" Fuentes to banned on Wednesday around an hour before interviewing Charlie Kirk on his radio show (Gorka claimed repeatedly over the last two days he only wants him to lose his verification badge) sent ZOA's tweet out calling for him to be banned to his over 900,000 followers late Friday morning.
Gorka in the past has repeatedly decried censorship as a tool for leftist losers who can't win an argument:
Fuentes responded to Gorka and ZOA's call for him to be banned on Friday afternoon, writing: "If I finally get banned from Twitter today, you know why. After challenging the hypocrisy of Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA, they have used their political clout to try to get me censored over phony and dishonest smears. These fakers SUPPORT tech censorship!"
Gorka really put it best in these tweets last year, just replace "the left" with "the bought and paid for controlled opposition right":
Conservative superstar Michelle Malkin spoke out against the supposed "free speech warriors" lobbying for Fuentes to be censored and said she is "Sick of #techcensors & enablers on BOTH sides."
"You can disagree, debate, or disavow @NickJFuentes but if you support him getting banned from @twitter you have no business calling yourself a #freespeech warrior," Malkin said.
Other conservatives also spoke out against ZOA's calls for censorship:
