The recent incident where police chased a man who filmed police abuse into his own home and dragged him out to arrest him on trumped up charges may have never seen the light of day if it wasn't for a bystander across the street secretly filming the incident from his window. The police in the case, multiple of whom have already been fired, are now been accused of engaging in a cover-up for allegedly tampering with evidence and witnesses. It's not clear what evidence they tampered with, but it wouldn't surprise me if they deleted the man's video. Omaha.com reports: One of four Omaha police officers fired Friday allegedly sought to destroy video footage of a controversial north Omaha arrest, while some other officers allegedly laid plans to cover up the incident, The World-Herald has learned. The police say their investigation is almost over, and from the looks of things it seems like they're surprisingly actually doing a serious investigation, it will be quite interesting to see the full extent of the cover-up when the details finally come out. The victims in this case could have had their lives ruined over this incident and their evidence against the police destroyed. Instead, thanks to the watchful eye of a neighbor the police are being held accountable for their crimes and the victims are being exonerated. _ Chris runs the website InformationLiberation.com, you can read more of his writings here.
