Holland to ban burqa as 'terror threat' Holland is to become the first country in Europe to ban the burqa after the government announced plans to introduce legislation outlawing the head-to-toe Islamic garment "within days".

UK survey at odds with Government over terror LONDON - Claims by MI5 and the Government that large numbers of young Muslims support terrorism are countered in a new survey that shows less than 1 per cent of the Islamic community sympathise with the actions of the 7/7 London bombers.

Man dies after taser, family hires attorney Darren Faulkner died after he was Tasered by a DeSoto County Sheriff's Deputy. Coroner Jeffrey Pounders says Faulkner died from heart failure. Faulkner also had heart disease, and an attorney hired by Faulkner's family believes the Taser may have had a lot to do with his death.

HOA Rule Forbids Couple To Smoke In Their Own HomeGOLDEN, Colo. -- A judge has upheld a homeowners association's order barring a couple from smoking in the town house they own.
Colleen and Rodger Sauve, both smokers, filed a lawsuit in March after their condominium association amended its bylaws last December to prohibit smoking.
"We argued that the HOA was not being reasonable in restricting smoking in our own unit, nowhere on the premises, not in the parking lot or on our patio," Colleen Sauve said.

Chicago Gets Crime-Fighting Robots(CBS) CHICAGO - Chicago now has its own RoboCops just like in the movies. City officials are touting the arrival of three new robots the city will use to diffuse bombs.

Hotel chain drops CNN over Iraq video; 'their actions supported terrorism’COLUMBIA, Mo. - A Midwest hotel chain has pulled CNN from the TV channel lineup in its guest rooms, saying the cable network was aiding terrorism with the broadcast of a video showing Iraqi snipers shooting at U.S. troops.
