![]() ALMOST 500 men voluntarily gave DNA samples in the first week of a screening programme designed to catch the killer of murdered model Sally Anne Bowman. Detectives want to screen 4,000 local men matching the description of the suspect who bit, stabbed and sexually assaulted Sally Anne, 18, as she returned to her home in Croydon, South London, after a night out. It is one of the biggest screening programmes ever seen in Britain. Police have warned that although the tests are voluntary, anyone who does not co-operate will be visited by officers at home. |
