![]() NBC News paid propagandist Katy Tur questioned whether her industry was "doing more harm than good" after seeing a new poll showing trust in newspapers and TV news is at an all-time low. "The trust in media, in newspapers and television, is hitting an all time low," Tur said during an interview last week shilling her new book. "People don't trust us. They don't believe us, and it makes me wonder if this job —as I'm currently doing it-- is effective, but if it's doing more harm than good."

"Just 16% of U.S. adults now say they have 'a great deal' or 'quite a lot' of confidence in newspapers and 11% in television news," Gallup reported on Monday. ![]() Tur two years ago suggested the FBI should be tracking young white men and providing them with bomb making materials in order to entrap them.
