Zelensky Orders General Mobilization, Blocks Men Aged 18 to 60 From Leaving Country

Ukraine's comedian president Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday afternoon ordered all Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 be blocked from leaving the country under martial law.

Zelensky's order came just hours after he took time to meet with actor Sean Penn to take part in Penn's "documentary on the Russian invasion."

Zelensky reportedly never ordered a full mobilization of the Ukrainian military ahead of Wednesday's attack because he thought Putin wasn't actually going to invade.
