Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker, both of whom are "fully vaccinated" and "boosted," revealed Sunday that they've come down with symptomatic covid.

They put out nearly identical statements saying how "grateful" they are to have gotten covid while triple-vaxxed:

I regularly test for COVID & while I tested negative earlier this week, today I tested positive with a breakthrough case. Thankfully, I am only experiencing mild symptoms & am grateful for the protection provided against serious illness that comes from being vaccinated & boosted.

I learned today that I tested positive for COVID-19 after first feeling symptoms on Saturday. My symptoms are relatively mild. I’m beyond grateful to have received two doses of vaccine and, more recently, a booster – I’m certain that without them I would be doing much worse.

Note, the fact they were triple-jabbed was not included in any of the media's headlines:

They also all say they "tested positive" for covid rather than caught it.

Every Tom, Dick and Harry who expressed any skepticism towards these shots made headlines all year if they tested positive for covid with their unvaxxed status being front and center but now that so-called "breakthrough" cases are spreading like wildfire, the triple-jabbed catching the virus is just a happenstance.

Sniffles, runny nose, headache and fatigue are reportedly the most common symptoms of the "mild" "omicron variant."

Whether their self-described "mild" and "relatively mild" symptoms are a result of the virus itself being weaker or the shots providing them some level of protection is not at all clear.

UPDATE: Triple-vaxxed Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) has also been infected with symptomatic covid and put out nearly same statement.

I just returned from an official congressional delegation visit to Ukraine and tested positive for a breakthrough COVID infection.
