Columbus and his crew of European minorities overcame harsh objections and violent reactions from xenophobic nativists but against all odds succeeded in establishing multiple "nations of immigrants" that we all enjoy today!

We should all celebrate this champion of diversity for bringing rich vibrancy to once-monochrome populations!

Columbus and European peoples brought new ways of life, new technologies, new perspectives and most importantly -- new exotic and vibrant cuisine!
