![]() DC news outlet WTOP deleted a factually accurate article on American-German rocket scientist Wernher von Braun's contribution to the Apollo 11 moon landing and other US space programs because it didn't focus enough on him once being a Nazi.Look and marvel at the stupidity of this tweet thread WTOP sent out on Tuesday: You can still read an archive of the article here. It said near the beginning that von Braun served under the Nazis before serving America (he also converted to Christianity): As a child growing up in Germany in the 1920s Wernher von Braun had a fascination with space exploration and rocketry. In 1932 he began work on Germany’s liquid-fuel rockets that pounded western Europe in World War II.They changed that first paragraph to read: As a child growing up in Germany in the 1920s, Wernher von Braun had a fascination with space exploration and rocketry. In 1932 he began work on Germany’s liquid-fuel rockets that pounded western Europe in World War II. He went on to become a member of the Nazi Party. They then decided to delete it altogether. Ilhan Omar is as American as apple pie (and more American than you or I!) but Wernher von Braun is nothing but a Nazi. To bring about our glorious prog-globalist future, all history must be sanitized or thrown down the memory hole altogether if it doesn't advance the narrative. Perhaps WTOP can replace the story with one promoting the myth of Hidden Figures. Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook, Gab and Minds. |
