![]() Minnesota Rep Ilhan Omar declared Tuesday at a Movement for Black Lives press conference on Capitol Hill that America "is not going to be the country of white people." "This is the country that was founded on the history of native American Genocide and on the backs of black slaves, but also by immigrants," Omar said. From CNS News: “We are collectively saying [to Trump], your vile attacks [and] your demented views are not welcome here,” said Omar at the event #InDefenseOfIlhan. “This is not going to be the country of the xenophobics. This is not going to be the country of white people.”I'm sure that if a sitting congressman attended a "Movement for White Lives (M4WL)" rally and declared "this is not going to be the country of black people" there would be similar radio silence in our fake news media! The Houston Chronicle ran this article on the same day of Omar's comments:
Here's an excerpt: White nationalists want America to be white again. But this will never happen. America is on its way to becoming predominantly nonwhite. Also on the same day, the New York Times ran an article saying "ethnic majorities" such as white Americans are "lash[ing] out" over what they called "false fears" of being "'overrun, 'outbred,' 'replaced.'"
