Rep. Ilhan Omar: 'This Is Not Going To Be The Country Of White People'

Minnesota Rep Ilhan Omar declared Tuesday at a Movement for Black Lives press conference on Capitol Hill that America "is not going to be the country of white people."

"This is the country that was founded on the history of native American Genocide and on the backs of black slaves, but also by immigrants," Omar said.

From CNS News:

“We are collectively saying [to Trump], your vile attacks [and] your demented views are not welcome here,” said Omar at the event #InDefenseOfIlhan. “This is not going to be the country of the xenophobics. This is not going to be the country of white people.”

“This is not going to be the country of the few,” said Omar. “This is the country of the many. This is the country that was founded on the history of native American Genocide and on the backs of black slaves, but also, by immigrants.”

The press conference/rally on Tuesday was organized by the Movement for Black Lives (M4BL), “an ecosystem of individuals and organizations creating a shared vision and policy agenda to win rights, recognition, and resources for Black people,” according to their press release.

I'm sure that if a sitting congressman attended a "Movement for White Lives (M4WL)" rally and declared "this is not going to be the country of black people" there would be similar radio silence in our fake news media!

White nationalists want America to be white again. But this will never happen. America is on its way to becoming predominantly nonwhite.

Also on the same day, the New York Times ran an article saying "ethnic majorities" such as white Americans are "lash[ing] out" over what they called "false fears" of being "'overrun, 'outbred,' 'replaced.'"
