![]() A new campaign from students at Ball State University encouraging folks to "thank a journalist" appears to be having a bit of trouble getting off the ground.In a video posted to Twitter on Tuesday which got "ratioed" to hell, a female student is heard saying: "You're probably wonder, why should I be thanking a journalist?" "Well, journalism empowers communities." "Every day, journalists devote their lives to delivering us the truth and to ultimately protect our democracy," she says. "Join us on March 13th for the official 'Thank A Journalist Day' and thank a journalist!" another male student says.
