![]() A new diversity position at Ohio University will pull down almost a fifth of a million dollars per year, joining more than twelve other employees in the school's diversity complex several months after the passage of a new tuition hike at the school. Gigi Secuban, the former associate vice chancellor and director of the Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Relations at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, will join Ohio University later this summer as its first vice president for diversity and inclusion, the student newspaper The Post reports. Secuban, who holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's degree in health science and a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Arkansas, "look[s] forward to working with the Diversity and Inclusion team to build on the great foundations they've put in place to help all students, staff and faculty excel," she said in a press release.
