Thursday night on Fox News, heroic shooting survivor Colton Haab told host Tucker Carlson that CNN did in fact write the question they wanted him to ask for their town hall event.

After attacking conservatives all week for daring to criticize CNN's hand selected group of shooting survivors pushing gun control, CNN viciously attacked Haab by name on Thursday and implied he was a liar in a statement saying there was "absolutely no truth" to his claims.

"CNN did not provide or script questions for anyone in last night's town hall, nor have we ever," CNN claimed, despite the record showing Donna Brazile received questions in advance from one of their town hall events during the 2016 presidential election and passed them along to Hillary Clinton.

Haab stood by his statements and shared even more details with Tucker, as Fox News reports:
On "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Thursday, Haab said he was contacted several days ago by a CNN producer who asked him to write a speech to deliver at the event, in addition to questions to ask.

He said after some back and forth, he was eventually provided with a question that was not his own words.

"They had taken what I had wrote and what I had briefed on and talked about, and they actually wrote the question for me," Haab said, agreeing with Carlson that it seemed "dishonest."

He said that's why he decided not to attend the town hall.

"Originally, I had thought that it was going to be more of my own question and my own say. And then it turned out to be more of just a script," Haab said. "And [the producer] had actually said that over the phone, that I needed to stick to the script."

When Carlson asked if he believes other students' town hall questions were reworded, Haab said "absolutely."

"Honestly, it was very shocking to me, because we just went through such a horrific tragedy," Haab said. "For them to take that and make such a big newscast over what they want to hear, it was very upsetting to me."
President Trump saw the show and blasted CNN on Twitter shortly after.

"'School shooting survivor says he quit @CNN Town Hall after refusing scripted question.' @TuckerCarlson. Just like so much of CNN, Fake News. That's why their ratings are so bad! MSNBC may be worse,'" the president said.

Haab not only heroically acted to shield his fellow students from a crazed gunman by providing them with sheets of Kevlar, but also to shield his fellow Americans from the crazed propagandists at CNN who are trying to exploit this horrible tragedy to advance their un-American political agenda.

This young man deserves to be honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
