This is what Bush-style "conservatives" actually believe.

"So the President would prefer we allow Norwegian socialists with no special love of America into the country, but not the Ghanan who will work his ass off with a grand appreciation for our free market system and raise his kids to be proud Americans," Erick Erickson tweeted Thursday.

Study after study shows what he's saying is complete nonsense, but that takes a backseat to virtue signalling.

Just ignore these charts, third world immigrants who all vote Democrat are the future of the Republican Party:

Erickson also said Thursday congress should pass a clean DACA bill.
There is a bipartisan consensus that the so-called Dreamers, those who fall under DACA, should not be deported if they have not committed a crime.

So keep them.

Congress seems intent on trying to find thousand page solutions to one page problems. It is a disease that afflicts both parties and only empowers lobbyists, congressional staffers who will become lobbyists, and unelected bureaucrats.

Congress can and should do this. The law is very simple. All those who registered or otherwise qualified under the executively enacted program called the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program shall be made permanent resident aliens of the United States and each of the states may decide how to treat said individuals for purposes of benefits in the state.
Erickson's website is reportedly being funded by billionaire Paul Singer.
