![]() Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton responded to the massacre in Las Vegas on Monday by saying we "must put politics aside" and then immediately calling for gun control."Our grief isn't enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again," Clinton said on Twitter.
"The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots. Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get," Clinton said in another tweet.
That's a reference to a specific bill, the Hearing Protection Act which would make it easier to buy a noise reducing suppressors which lowers decibels levels from around 160 to 130 on the average firearm, which is hardly "silent" but would help protect the hearing of gun owners. There's no evidence the shooter used a silencer during the attack. Nonetheless, Clinton couldn't "let a serious crisis go to waste." Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook and Gab. |
