Hannity Mocks 'Alt Left' Reaction to Flynn: 'Really, You're Going to Compare This To 9/11?'

Sean Hannity mocked the NY Times' Thomas Friedman on his show Wednesday for comparing Flynn's resignation and Russia's supposed hacking of our election to "9/11 and Pearl Harbor."

Responding to the Flynn resignation and his call with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, Friedman told NBC's Chuck Todd on Wednesday that Russia's hacking of our election "was a 9/11 scale event."

"They attacked the core of our very democracy. That was a Pearl Harbor scale event," he said.

Hannity responded to Friedman's freak out last night, saying: "Really, you're going to compare this to 911 and Pearl Harbor? Where thousands of Americans died?"

"If Friedman ever bothered to do some research and read the joint report from the FBI and the Department of Homeland security, it found Russia did not interfere in the election vote totals in any way."
