Germany: Far-Left MP Smuggles In African 'Refugee' In His Trunk, Brags About It On Facebook

A German MP with the far-left Die Linke party is facing a police probe after smuggling an African refugee into his country in the boot of his car.

Diether Dehm, 66, even posted a picture on Facebook of the illegal immigrant lying in the boot of his car.

...he illegally brought the young man into Germany at the end of August from Italy.

“It concerns a young man from an African war zone,” said the report. “A refugee helper who is friends with Dehm’s children pleaded for his help; after the death of his mother the young man made it across the Mediterranean to Italy to try to reach his father already living in Germany. But he couldn’t make it out of Italy.”

The newspaper went on to say that Dehm – a millionaire producer of musicals – invited the young man to stay at his holiday home on Lake Maggiore. From there he secreted him across the border into Switzerland and then on into Germany where he was reunited with his father.

Dehm appeared to have no regrets, telling Bild: “I brought a young orphan from Africa over the border from Italy to Germany to be with his father. The border guards have not registered him.”

...It is understood he is being investigated by police for illegally bringing in a migrant into Germany – an act which could see him face a heavy fine and the young man he brought in expelled.
