A co-worker of Omar Mateen said his complaints about his "unhinged and unstable" behavior were ignored by his employer because he was a Muslim. Florida Today: A former Fort Pierce police officer who once worked with 29-year-old Omar Mateen, the assailant in an Orlando nightclub shooting that left at least 50 dead, said he was "unhinged and unstable." "I quit because everything he said was toxic," Gilroy said Sunday, "and the company wouldn't do anything. This guy was unhinged and unstable. He talked of killing people."LA Times has more: "I complained multiple times that he was dangerous, that he didn't like blacks, women, lesbians and Jews," Gilroy told The Times on Sunday. Mateen threatened violence in front of him, Gilroy said. Once when Mateen saw an African American man driving past, he said he wished he could kill all black people, using a racial slur, Gilroy recalled. If Mateen felt comfortable telling his co-worker his murder fantasies, what did he tell his family? Mateen reportedly gave his sister his home in Port St. Lucie for just 10$ two months prior to his terrorist attack. Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter and Facebook. |
