After both candidates talked about race relations, Ifill brought up white people and asked, “If working-class white Americans are about to be outnumbered, are already underemployed in many cases, and once study found they are dying sooner, don’t they have a reason to be resentful?”Clinton said she’s “deeply concerned about what’s happening in every community in America,” including many problems plaguing white communities like early deaths and drugs. |
