 Speaking at the Virginia Coastal Policy Center, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy says,"'if you go up to anybody in the military who's been paying attention," they would say climate change is a major national security threat. ADMINISTRATOR MCCARTHY: "I think if you go up to anybody in the military who's been paying attention as well, they will tell you that one of the biggest challenges to national security is the challenge of climate change. And, they are partnering with us to make sure that they're delivering on their promise of addressing national security by changing the work they're doing to reflect a change in climate as well."
