![]() Anti-war Iraq war veteran Adam Kokesh just released an new 'Man on the Street' video where he interviews a wide range of Americans to get their take on the movie American Sniper. What we learn is your average American has put no thought into determining their beliefs, but merely act as autonomous robots, choosing to believe what they were programmed to believe. The US invasion of Iraq was good because America was behind it and we are the good guys, the Iraqis are bad because they are fighting our troops and they're our enemy -- end of thought process. Absolutely no critical thought goes into asking why America was over there, whether or not the Iraqis were acting in self-defense, whether the US was waging a 'just war,' etc. It's simply America = good, the people our government says are our enemies = bad. They've never seen a reason to question it, so they don't, and when someone asks them to, they become combative. |
