![]() "Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan"? Does anyone still buy this garbage?Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan issued a 4:53 video yesterday, December 24, 2005, depicting the beheading of Saeed Allah Khan, an alleged spy for Americans who was sent to Warziristan, northwest Pakistan, to execute bombings on Islamic schools and students’ houses. The video, in Pahsto language with Arabic subtitles, shows Khan, seated next to a masked man, orating a statement in which he tells of his purported commission by the Americans, salary, and advise to Afghans to cease their work with Americans and the Afghan military, and “follow Allah’s path,” else, their end will be as his. The execution of Saeed Allah Khan bears a striking similarity to the beheadings in Iraq. In fact, immediately following Khan’s statement is a scene in which U.S. President George W. Bush says the name “Zarqawi.” After this utterance, the masked man beheads Khan with a knife. The video clip and a translation of the statement is provided to our Intel Service members. |
