Ohio Police Officer Charged with Voyeurism, Defecating in Public

Cincinnati area police officer Justin Lunsford was arrested for defecating in public and voyeurism, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. The Hamilton officer resigned to prevent possible disciplinary action and an investigation into his actions, according to the Enquirer.

Here are some facts about the Lunsford incident:

* Monroe Police Department officers detained Lunsford after he was allegedly caught being a voyeur, urinating and defecating outside the Parkside Inn last week. The officer returned to the Monroe Police Department this week and admitted to the accused offenses shortly after resigning from his law enforcement position, according to police reports released in the Enquirer.

* Police officers used statements from both Lunsford and witnesses to explain what was shown on the motel's surveillance camera. Lunsford will face four charges relating to the incident in Butler County. According a Parkside Inn hotel worker who complete a witness statement, Lunsford was not wearing pants or shoes and squatted to defecate before getting dressed and returning to his vehicle.
