There's one common misconception in this video. Namely, war does not help our economy. War helps a few select cronies who are the recipients of corporate welfare, the rest of the economy, who is paying for the corporate welfare, gets completely destroyed.

The whole "conquest" model of economic growth is not accurate, wealth is created through trade and voluntarism, not war and theft, which only consumes and destroys wealth.

The part on Afghanistan producing +90% of the worlds heroin, it's actually worse than he says. Right before the US invaded Afghanistan opium production had tanked drastically due to the Taliban's theocratic dictatorship which eradicated the vast majority of opium production in Afghanistan, see this article from 2001 in the New York Times, "Taliban's Eradication of Poppies Is Convulsing Opium Market."

Here's another great article which details what happened post US invasion:
Who benefits from the Afghan Opium Trade?

Implemented in 2000-2001, the Taliban's drug eradication program led to a 94 percent decline in opium cultivation. In 2001, according to UN figures, opium production had fallen to 185 tons. Immediately following the October 2001 US led invasion, production increased dramatically, regaining its historical levels. - Source

Great video, it's on the front page of Reddit right now.
