![]() MONTREAL--A police officer in St-Eustache, Que., has been suspended for five days without pay for slamming a woman against a car after she parked in a restricted spot outside her son's school. [...] Cadieux had parked at the elementary school for a few minutes while she went inside to get her son. Another parent then told her Valenta was writing her a parking ticket. Cadieux went back outside and Valenta told her to move the car, but he grabbed her before she could enter the car. He grabbed her by the coat, slammed her against the car and threw herumbrella to the ground in front of several witnesses. He then handcuffed Cadieux. Another officer quickly released Cadieux, and several disgusted parents filed complaints against the officer. Ethics commissioner Mario Bilodeau ruled Valenta's actions were completely unnecessary.
