Authorities reject 'Heatballs' attempt to skirt EU light bulb ban

It is literally illegal to buy a normal light bulb in the EU. Do people even understand what that means? The government is banning light bulbs. If you try to import a light bulb against their orders, you will be shot.

That's your wonderful "civilization" for you.

Nothing about this was "satirical," the man was trying to buy normal light bulbs because tons of people hate mercury filled CFL bulbs and crappy LEDs.

Normal light bulbs have also already been banned in the US, starting in 2012 men with guns will prevent you from "illegally" buying them. The government will likely stage stings and raids with SWAT teams just like they do for raw milk.
