Hillary Clinton: Davos Lady Does Israel

It appears our globalist rulers are cutting the deck, prepping Hillary Clinton for the presidency in 2008. As the elitist tradition demands, all serious presidential candidates must pay homage to the appropriate centers of influence and power. One such center is AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, “the most effective general interest group over the entire planet,” according to the neocon Newt Gingrich.

Thus Hillary and her husband trekked to Israel, where Hillary made sure to get her photo snapped at Jerusalem’s Western Wall, designed to touch the hearts of all voting Jews in America. She called another wall—the apartheid wall, soon to stretch 400 miles and reduce the West Bank into a huge open-air prison—where she declared, “This is not against the Palestinian people…. This is against the terrorists. The Palestinian people have to help to prevent terrorism. They have to change their attitudes about terrorism,” according to the Israel Hasbara Committee. As usual, a bit of translation is required—according to Clinton and her Israeli hosts, the Palestinians must accept the occupation of their land, must accept daily humiliation, must accept checkpoints, the murder of their children, the destruction of their homes and olive groves, the presence of fanatical Arab-hating settlers in their midst, and their designation as “hewers of wood and drawers of water,” the fate suffered by the Hivites, one of the original tribes of Palestine, as illustrated in the Judeo-Christian Bible (Josh. 9:21).

Naturally, as Haaretz points out, Clinton did not “go to the Palestinian territories or meet any Palestinian officials during her three-day visit to the region.” She did however meet with “the parents of a Magen David Adom rescue service volunteer killed three years ago while doing reserve duty in the Israeli army. Clinton had met Yochai Porat just two weeks before he was killed.” Porat was killed by a sniper while manning a roadblock near the “Samaria” (occupied Palestine) “community” (illegal settlement) of Ofra. Of course, Haaretz does not bother to mention that Ofra colonists have attempted to attack Palestinian villages in Ramallah District and “Israeli bulldozers accompanied by Ofra colonists (settlers) uprooted 100 olive and fig trees from Silwad village, in Ramallah District,” according to Quds (see the Applied Research Institute Jerusalem Monthly Report on the Israeli Colonization Activities in the West Bank, Volume 28, November 2000 Issue). As Clinton would have it, as she celebrated the apartheid wall, Palestinians have to “change their attitudes” about occupation and accept the racism and violence directed against them.

“Hillary and her Israeli allies just don’t get it,” writes Joshua Frank. “When you put powerless Palestinians behind a wall where life in any real economic sense is unattainable, you wreak pain and anguish, which in turn leads to more anger and resentment toward Israel’s brutal policies. Indeed, the wall will not prove to be a deterrent to resistance, but an incitement to defiance.”

But then Arabs in New York will probably not vote for Clinton come 2008. It should not be assumed Clinton is a Zionist per se—she is a politician courting the global elite, the neolib rulers who appoint our presidents here in America, a former constitutional republic. Israel is an important component of the transnational global configuration, more than simply an outpost amidst insubmissive hordes of Arabs and Muslims. Israel may be considered the launch-pad for the “hard economic” depredations of the “Davos Man” into the Muslim world, as the neoliberal loan sharks and carpetbaggers have their eyes not only on Islamic Oil but other natural resources and captured labor as well. Of course, for the neocon faction of transnational neoliberalism, Zionism is important, as it is for the current crop of reactionaries in America, the Christian Zionists, but for the Davos Man such considerations are more or less irrelevant—the loan sharks and carpetbaggers will use whatever tool is at their disposal, be those tools branded by the mark of Zionism, Christian Zionism, or any other hue or stripe of the political and religious spectrum. Green is the most important color in the rainbow.

It should be remember that a little-known governor from Arkansas, Bill Clinton, was groomed by the CFR and Trilateralists and subsequently celebrated at the secretive Bilderberg Conference in 1991—all prerequisites for his ascension to the White House. “Hillary Clinton was on hand [at a Lake Lanier Islands resort near Atlanta, Georgia in 1997] to greet the 120 Bilderberg attendees, drawn from the highest ranks of global business, politics, media, education and finance,” writes Charles Overbeck. Charles Muller, spokesman for the Bilderberg, told the Gainesville Times that the group would be discussing “issues affecting the Western world that include China, NATO, Islam, energy, growth and corporate governance.” Between now and 2008, it will be interesting to see if Hillary attends a Bilderberger soirée.

Madame Clinton is well on her way.
