![]() A former New Castle police officer was sentenced Monday after admitting to inappropriate contact with two teenage girls. Richard Corbin will spend 90 days on house arrest and 8 years on probation. He is also barred from ever being a police officer again. Corbin pleaded guilty in March to two charges of indecent assault and two charges of corruption of minors. Two girls, ages 13 and 15, claimed Corbin had sex with them after providing them with alcohol in January 2008. Robert Bogdan, 20, and Billie Esposito, 35, both of New Castle, allegedly tried to bribe a witness in the Corbin case. Reports say the two went to the home of one of the victims and offered her $4,000 to write a statement saying the assaults never happened. Bogdan is the nephew of Corbin's wife and Esposito is his girlfriend. |
