![]() BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The family of a Bakersfield boy who was bitten by a Bakersfield police K-9 plans to sue the department.The boy's mother said 14-year old Miguel Perez was asleep when the dog attacked him as officers searched his family’s home for robbery suspects. Police said Perez was not involved in the robbery. According to police, they asked the mother if anyone else was inside the home and she indicated there was no one. Officers said they also announced that the dog was coming into the home several times before the K-9 entered and the teen was bitten. |
