![]() Don’t feel sorry for the Democrats. If not for their spinelessness and, in many instances, enthusiastic agreement with the Bush total war against Islam doctrine, they wouldn’t be in the situation they now are—a large number of “rank and file” Democrats outside of Bushzarro world on the Potomac see their party leaders as part of the problem, not the solution, and will be hard-pressed to support them in the up-coming presidential election in 2008. Of course, considering the “two party” (or, more accurately, one party) political system in the United States, this leaves them without a viable candidate to vote for. “Sens. Evan Bayh of Indiana, Joseph Biden of Delaware, Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, John Kerry of Massachusetts and former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina are mulling over running for the Democratic nomination,” notes the San Francisco Chronicle. “All voted in October 2002 for a resolution authorizing the president to use force in Iraq.” In other words, all of them are war criminals, or at minimum accessories after the fact. Instead of running for president, they should be running to hire high-powered attorneys, or running to foreign embassies to avoid arrest and seek sanctuary. These weak-willed or warmongering Democrats will “no doubt… be forced to explain their positions—both then and now—and in doing so could open themselves to attack from candidates who didn’t support the resolution or didn’t have to cast the politically tricky vote,” the Chronicle continues. Of course, the only “presidential hopeful” Democrat who didn’t vote for slaughtering a hundred thousand or more innocent Iraqis was Russell Feingold—and he has a snowball’s chance in hell of winning his party’s nomination, let alone actually taking up residency in the White House. No, the global neolib elite that actually decide who will be president—by hook, crook, or rigged Diebold voting machine—will likely pick the disgusting Hilary Clinton, who will demand a groveling fealty from Democrats far and wide. No telling who the Republicans will pick, but don’t be surprised if it is Condi Rice or—if the Bush crime family is not entirely discredited after Plame affair indictments are handed down and wrist-slap prosecutions (of Karl, Scooter, or less likely Dick) are concluded—George’s little brother, Jeb. I’m betting on Condi to run against Hilary. No doubt we will be told America is ready for a female president, even if both are ice queens and no slouches in the warmongering department. Of course, it is far too early to make any reliable predictions. Meanwhile, with the election almost exactly three years off, Dem spinmeisters and operatives are going to work with pickaxes, attempting to bury the troublesome fact their presidential potentials are war criminals spattered in blood and the gore of Iraqi children and grandmothers. “Democrats, strategists say, likely will mull questions such as: Did candidates who voted initially for the war continue voting to give the president billions of dollars to continue operations? Did they press for a withdrawal strategy? What was their position as the war dragged on with no end in sight, casualties climbed and the price tag soared?” As the election draws near, expect Democrats looking at the White House to begin leaning on Bush and the neocons for a “peace with honor” solution to the dismal “war” in Iraq. Of course, they really don’t care if Bush pulls out the troops—in fact, as amoral and debauched politicians, they are crossing their fingers in the hope Bush stays in Iraq (and he will of course) and the dead bodies pile up so they can use this as a brickbat during the run-up to the election. It is so easy to fool loyal Democrats, even those supposedly out on the “liberal” fringe (effortlessly swindled by Howard Dean, the “antiwar” candidate). So deep and pervasive is the democracy myth, the Democrats will slavishly follow their party leaders—lemmings nearing a dangerous escarpment comes to mind—and believe whatever swill they dispense and energetically ask for more at the sound of a Pavlovian bell. It may be too late to save what remains of the republic. Millions of people are conditioned to believe the demopublicans are their saviors, when in fact they are simply front men and women for the globalist neolibs and their project to render the entire world into a “free trade” (that is, multinational corporations are free to pillage and loot and deem it trade) gulag and Panopticon police state. Wilhelm Reich, when he wasn’t trying to save people with his absurd sex orgone machine, wrote about the dismal fact the common man was responsible for spreading the social cancer of fascism. “Reich had seen how common citizens in Germany embraced their enslavement by their Nazi overlords. He was now seeing the reappearance of the same phenomenon in the United States and Europe. Someone needed to tell the average citizen that his personal characteristics were at the root of the world-wide plague of totalitarianism,” writes Norman D. Livergood in a review of Reich’s small book, Listen Little Man. “A kindly man believes that all men are kindly, while one infected with the [emotional and thus political] plague believes that all men lie and cheat and are hungry for power. In such a situation the living are at an obvious disadvantage. When they give to the plague-ridden, they are sucked dry, then ridiculed or betrayed.” Democrats are continually “sucked dry” by their party leadership, same as truly conservative and decent Republicans are by the neocons that have infested their party and turned it into a house of horrors. “Anyone who wants to safeguard the life-force from the emotional plague must learn to make at least as much use of the right of free speech that we enjoy in America for good ends as the emotional plague does for evil ones,” Reich declared. “Granted equal opportunity for expression, rationality is bound to win out in the end. That is our great hope.” In 2005, however, rationality is an endangered species as neocon charlatans redefine reality and turn the world into a charnel house. Democrats went along to get along with the death’s head agenda. Now they will attempt to trip Bush up on details—no exit plan, no light at the end of the proverbial Nixonian tunnel—but this will not save them, although it may get one of them elected to the White House, as the neolib globalist hidden hand may want to rearrange the deck chairs on the S.S. New World Order, finally weary of the brazen dirty tricks of the Bush crime family and their neocon fellow travelers—or rather tired of their unabashed tactics in the light of day (when it is advantageous for vampires must remain in the dark). Of course, the elite have no problem with stinking heaps of dead bodies (since they are essentially necrophiles), but the problem is, for now, the bodies are a public relations problem, minus “some catastrophic and catalyzing event,” another nine eleven on steroids, an event that very well may be down the road and just around the bend—be it an engineered viral pandemic or “dirty” nuke attack in the American heartland. Rest assured, Democrats of the Soros sort are as ruthless and murderous as their neocon kissing cousins. Clinton cried in church and averred his capacity to feel the pain of others (he was lying of course) while he managed to surpass the criminality of his predecessor, Bush Senior. Clinton “brought to the commission of war crimes a new eclectic reach and postmodern style,” writes Edward S. Herman. “A skilled public relations person, he has refined the rhetoric of humanistic and ethical concern and can apologize with seeming great sincerity [the hallmark of an accomplished sociopath] for our earlier regrettable sponsorship and support of mass murder in Guatemala while carrying out similar or even more vicious policies in Colombia and Iraq at the same moment…. Clinton’s crimes range from ad hoc bombings to boycotts and sanctions designed to starve into submission, to support of ethnic cleansing in brutal counterinsurgency warfare, and to aggression and devastation by bombing designed to return rogues to the stone age and keep them there.” In many ways, Clinton was worse than George W. Bush and crew—at least the neocons make no bones about their desire to turn vast swaths of the earth (particularly in the Middle East) into a beastly morass of death and misery, while Clinton swaddled his homicidal acts in “humanistic and ethical” doublespeak and expertly distracted his listeners with teary and histrionic apologia. In 2008, America may get his wife, a cunning woman who will no doubt continue the Clinton legacy and possibly show the over-the-top neocons a thing or two when it comes to attacking nations in the underhanded fashion of her spouse. Millions of witless Democrats—waiting all these years to weather out the long winter of Bush, mostly for his stylistic errors and inability to act the part—will rush to the polls and gleefully vote for her in great numbers, demonstrating that Wilhelm Reich, for all his faults, knew precisely what he was talking about. |
