![]() SAINT-CLET, Que. (CP) - Quebec provincial police arrested a 15-year-old boy on Monday for allegedly using the Internet to threaten fellow students at a high school west of Montreal. Police said the student at Westwood high school in Hudson, Que., went on vampirefreaks.com, the same website Kimveer Gill used before his shooting rampage at Dawson College last week. "Police officers didn't want to take any chances on this, mentioning that the person would possibly take up arms to do what Mr. Gill had done at Dawson College," said police spokesman Jayson Gauthier. "Therefore, we proceeded with an arrest." Police did not say what the teenager wrote or whether he had access to weapons. Police officers went to the school, which was formerly known as Hudson high, on Monday morning to reassure students and parents. The boy was arrested at his home in Saint-Clet, just southwest of Montreal. Officers said they would question the teen to try to determine whether he was serious or merely joking. Last Wednesday, Gill killed 18-year-old Anastasia DeSousa at Dawson and wounded 19 others before killing himself after police shot him. |
