![]() A U.S. military base in Afghanistan is attacked during their 9/11 memorial service on Monday. CNN reporter Anderson Cooper was reporting live from the base at the time it came under fire. Soldiers and others can be seen scrambling in the video below, as enemy rockets are heard in the background. Quickly, the U.S. forces return fire with large Howitzer cannons. As dusk fell over the base, the attacks ceased. The Soldiers insisted on finishing their commemoration of the fifth anniversary of 9/11. |
