The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is claimed to be abducting terror suspects and flying them to prisons around the world where it is alleged that they have been tortured and that the UK is also claimed to provide logistic support.

A news article published in British newspaper The Guardian reads that Martin s, a special rapporteur of the United Nations Human Rights Commission, has launched an inquiry regarding the issue. The aircraft used in these covert operations land at British airports for refueling, the inquiry says.

According to the claims reported by The Guardian, the aircraft used in the secret operations have flown into the UK at least 210 times since the September 11 terror attacks and that Foreign Office officials have denied knowledge of the secret flights.

Ministry of Defense officials are aware of the flights wrote the paper, and an official said: “It is not a matter for the Ministry of Defense. The aircraft use our airfields. We don't ask any questions."

The countries where the rounds of torture were organized include Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and Syria says The Guardian, also claiming that these aircraft had refueled in airports such as Belfast, Birmingham, Heathrow, Brize Norton, Glasgow, and Luton
