Dixon police are checking to see if local vehicles are left unlocked under a new program called "Gotcha!"
A Reddit user posted an image of a ticket he received reminding him to lock up his vehicle by local Illinois authorities and claimed that the "local police department unlawfully" entered his "unlocked vehicle to prove a point."

The California Highway Patrol is investigating claims made by a motorcyclist in Oakhurst, who says an officer endangered his life during an unconventional traffic stop, and he has the video evidence from his GoPro to prove it.

This week it was announced that Oregon will be expunging the old records of marijuana offenders, along with their new legalization plan. This measure is the farthest that a state has gone to date in regards to applying the new laws to old cases. A short video clip has emerged showing a Fairfax County, Virginia deputy tase a man in the back as he can be seen complying with commands to put his hands on the officer’s police cruiser in the Rose Hill area of the Franconia district on Thursday.
Witnesses can be heard protesting the officers actions on the video, and one told local reporters that the unidentified man “did not try to run or nothing.”
Hancock County, Ind. -- School and anti-marijuana activist groups in Hancock County are debuting "marijuana goggles" at a community event this weekend, in an effort to "fight teen drug use."
According to WISH TV, "the goggles allow the teens to see through the eyes of someone who has been smoking, without ever lighting up themselves."
